Originally, this episode was supposed to start with Nathan's press conference speech, then show the future, then go back to Nathan's speech.
The second hand on Hiro's clock doesn't move when he's playing with time.
Hiro's office was filmed in the Arco building on the 51st floor.
Claire's picking up of the knife and hiding in the closet are references to Halloween (1978 film) by John Carpenter.

This commentary was recorded on the Level 5 set.
Originally, Cristine Rose was meant to do the voice-over for the opening sequence but because her storyline was not as predominant as the other characters storylines, Sendhil was asked to do it instead.
Zachary Quinto and Kristen Bell are said to be good friends in real life.
Originally, the scene with Mohinder and his sticky hands was meant to be him vomiting.
In the combat scene between Claire and Noah, Balsa wood is being used to allow it to break easily.

The combat scene between Sylar and Noah is done without the use of stunt doubles.
There was originally a scene where Cristine Rose was thrown against the wall by Sylar, as he did with Noah. This scene was cut.
