Faction Zero

In chapter 1 of Faction Zero, Eric enters the Costa Verde branch of Sam's Comics, frantic and stressed. He explains to Claire that when he was on the run from the government, he lied that he was engaged. The lie was perpetrated through Facebook, and now Eric's mother believes he is engaged. Eric tries to persuade Claire to pose as his fiancée, but is distracted when Rachel Mills enters the comic book store. Eric hides from Rachel by shrinking. Later, Rachel promises to pay back Claire a favor by posing as Eric's betrothed.

Evolved Human Abilities

Eric has the ability of size alteration. He can grow or shrink at will. He can shrink himself down to be small enough to hide under comic book racks, and in the palm of Claire's hand. He can apparently shrink his clothes, but is also capable of not shrinking personal affects, such as the phone he was carrying.

Notes

• The character of Eric was chosen from the top-ranked characters in the Heroes: Survival game to appear in an iStory. He was the first character to have this honor.
• Eric was once a captive in Building 26. He was saved in one of Rebel's first missions.
• Eric is a member of the Undaunted faction in the Heroes: Survival game.
