|Etch A Sketch Heroes|
Etch A Sketch Heroes is a fan creation that depicts many of the main and supporting Heroes characters, drawn on pocket-size Etch A Sketch tablets.
The artwork was created by Christoph Brown, an Oklahoma-born artist who often uses pocket-size Etch A Sketch tablets as the medium for his art. The sketches were created as part of a larger series he calls "The Pantheon Series", a variety of character groups that mirror the roles of Zeus and his fellow gods. According to Christoph, each of these characters can correspond to a specific Greek god. In the Pantheon Series, Christoph has also sketched many of the superheroes from Marvel Comics and DC Comics
Christoph brown attended the University of Evansville as an art major, but was later recruited to the theatre department. In the early 2000s, Christoph picked up a pocket-size Etch A Sketch, began drawing on it, and would create daily sketches to place beside the cash register of the Los Angeles coffee shop where he worked. After realizing his talent and success, Christoph honed his skills while working as a singer in Japan. Shortly thereafter, he had his first gallery shows and expositions. In 2006, he set the first Fastest Etch A Sketch World Record. Since then, Christoph has made Etch A Sketching his full-time business. His company, Etch U Productions, provides unique art and entertainment. Known as The Amazing Etch Man, Christoph sketches guest portraits and performs at events across the country.
