Sylar attempts to use his telekinesis on the mug. Despite his hard work, he finds himself unable to do so and becomes outraged at Candice.
When she later tempts him with "exotic fantasies", he smashes the coffee cup over her head and kills her. He later removes the shards of the cup from her head.
