Hiro teleports Kensei to the fortress to retrieve the Fire Scroll. Hiro teleports away, leaving Kensei to face the ninety angry ronin to retrieve the scroll.
Heroes Evolutions
The documentary Sword Saint, details the legend surrounding Whitebeard's Hidden Fortress and "The Trials of Takezo Kensei" which Kensei faced to find the fortress. Tatsuya Atsumi says that Fire Scroll contained many secrets, including clues to the location of his secret camp. After obtaining the Scroll, Kensei defeated the Black Bear of Sakashita who guarded the Fortress. When he finally reached the fortress, Whitebeard's entire army (numbering somewhere between 70,000 and 200,000) gathered at the fortress. In a battle lasting a reported eleven days, Kensei defeated the entire army at the Hidden Fortress, then finally defeated Whitebeard himself.
