While eating in the Bowl-A-Rama in Tokyo, the boy and a girl spit spitballs at Hiro and Ando. When Hiro stops time, he rearranges the boy's impending spitball aim by moving the boy's straw so it points at the girl he is with. When time resumes, the boy and the girl spit their spitballs at each other rather than at Ando and Hiro.
