Daphne is one of the new villains for Volume Three.

- 8/11 NEW! — A new ad for Heroes featuring Daphne aired during the Olympics, in a scene where she steals something from Hiro and Hiro freezes time and tells Daphne that she has something that belongs to him.
- 6/10 — A CBR interview with Brea Grant sheds more light on the interaction between Daphne and Hiro. In the interview, Brea claims that "they basically negate each other's powers. Daphne can move even when Hiro freezes time, but she can't move at super speed."
- 6/10 — Daphne will feature in the episode The Butterfly Effect.
- 5/9 — According to a recent AP article, the name of Brea Grant's character is "Daphne".
- 5/4 — Brea Grant joins heroes as Joy, a character with enhanced speed.
- 5/4 — Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide says that Joy will be played by Brea Grant.
- 4/29 — According to an E! Online interview with Kristin Veitch, Joy will be a villain in Volume 3. Hiro meets her in a museum, asks her if she has powers, and if she is trying to steal some art. She convinces him she's on the up-and-up...and then makes off with a bunch of paintings. She is described as a nymph-like character with the speed of a cheetah.
