Kevin Smith is is an American screenwriter, film director, actor, and the founder of View Askew Productions.
About
Kevin Smith is best known for movies such as Clerks, Clerks II, Dogma, and Chasing Amy. He also frequently plays the character of Silent Bob. At Comic-Con '07, Tim Kring announced that Smith would write and direct the first episode of Heroes: Origins. However, since the fate of Heroes: Origins is uncertain, it is unknown if Smith will still direct the premiere episode.
Kevin directed Missy Peregrym in the pilot of Reaper, and directed Ali Larter in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

- In an interview, Kevin Smith reveals that he wasn't familiar with Heroes at first, and had to watch all the episodes off of iTunes.
