Following advice received telepathically from Mr. Bennet, Matt breaks off part of a rusty pipe that runs through his cell. He uses the pipe to knock out a guard who comes to investigate the noise, then escapes. When Thompson sees the empty cell, he sounds the alarm.

- According to Chuck Kim's commentary for .07%, the set for Matt's cell is really just the same as the set for Sylar's cell, redressed with a different wall and all beds removed.
