Character History
Five Years Gone
When Matt speaks with Mr. Bennet, Bennet gives him a picture drawn by Matthew of himself with his mother. Bennet tries to comfort Matt by telling him that he did the right thing for his family.
Notes
- Matthew seems to be named after his father Matt Parkman.
- According to Matt, Matthew is a "person of interest" to Homeland Security, indicating that he is possibly an evolved human.
- Matthew's father is unknown. In the Explosion Future, Matt Parkman assumed he was the father (Five Years Gone). That timeline presumably changed with the course of events following the explosion. Later, Matt said that Tom McHenry was the father of Janice's unborn child (The Kindness of Strangers). The unborn child's exact parentage remains uncertain. Likewise, it is uncertain whether or not Janice's unborn baby grows up to become Matthew.
