After Garcia arrests Alejandro, he brings him to the police station, where Hernandez is eating. Alejandro meets another prisoner, Derek. Maya arrives at the station, looking to secure her brother's release. However, she only has 14 dollars, not the required 2500 pesos for Alejandro's bail. The police refuse to let Alejandro go, so Maya uses her ability to overcome them. After Alejandro absorbs the effects of his sister's power and the two flee with Derek, the officers begin to revive, but Maya, Alejandro and Derek escape in Derek's car.
