Michael Dorn is an American film and TV actor who portrays the President. He also portrayed a shape shifted Peter Petrelli in An Invisible Thread.

Michael Dorn in an American actor best known for his roles in the Star Trek series. He has been acting since 1978 and, aside from his Star Trek roles, he has a good deal of voice acting in TV shows and video games. Dorn also directed four episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as well as one episode of Star Trek: Enterprise. With the addition of Dorn to the cast of Heroes, its ties with the Star Trek franchise is once again strengthened.
