At the Petrellis' home, Monty helps pick out postcards for his father's campaign. He then enjoys a family brunch with his father and mother, brother, uncle, grandmother, and a writer for the New York Journal.
Nathan visits Monty and his brother Simon at school, where the two young boys greet their father, and they're both happy to see him. They agree that Nathan should shave his beard, and one of the school teachers reminds Nathan that he can't visit his boys. Nathan wishes Monty and Simon goodbye.
Monty attends Nathan's funeral.
- Although their names are not used in the aired episode, Monty and his brother Simon are addressed by name in a deleted scene from Nothing to Hide. The two brothers are named after Jesse Alexander's two sons. Their names are first spoken on-screen in The Kindness of Strangers.
