One of Us, One of Them

When Daphne sees Hiro and Ando at the moviehaus, she says, "Domo arigato," and explains that that's the only Japanese she knows.

Angels and Monsters

At the specials for hire bar, Adam tells Hiro and Ando to look tough. Ando puffs out his chest and assumes a stiff posture, but Hiro says, "He said look tough, not like Mr. Roboto." Ando explains that that's his tough guy walk.

Notes

  • The song "Mr. Roboto" was performed by the Styx on their 1983 album Kilroy Was Here.
  • The Japanese lyrics of the chorus repeat "どうもありがとうミスターロボット (Dōmo arigatō misutā Robotto)" which translates to "Thank you very much, Mr. Roboto."
