The National Broadcasting Company, or NBC, is the American television network headquartered in the GE Building in New York City's Rockefeller Center. In May 2004, NBC merged with Vivendi Universal Entertainment to form NBC Universal.

About

NBC was created in 1926, originally as a radio broadcasting company. As television revolutionized the world, NBC began broadcasting television programs.

NBC began airing Heroes in late September of 2006. The series is scheduled for broadcast in several other countries.

Homecoming

A male student at Union Wells High School wears a Battlestar Galactica shirt. Battlestar Galactica began airing on the NBC-affiliated SciFi Channel in 2003 and later on NBC in 2004.

Angela Bromstad reports on Jackie's murder. Angela Bromstad is the real life president of NBC Universal Television Studios.

Sylar hitchhikes with a trucker from the "Northeast Brewing Company". The brewing company's name can be abbreviated "NBC".

Monica watches the "Martial Arts Movie of the Week" on "Brava". In real life, "Bravo" is an NBC Universal-owned cable television channel which sometimes shares programming with NBC.

Thompson, Jr. tells Connie that he wouldn't mind being stranded on MILF Island with her. MILF Island is the title of the April 10, 2008 episode of 30 Rock, produced by NBC. MILF Island is also the title of a reality show spoof featured on 30 Rock.

Bruce Evans reports on the shooting at Nathan's press conference. Bruce Evans is the real life senior vice president of NBC.

When he first meets Matt, Usutu wears a Universal Studios t-shirt.

Exposed

Peter arranges to meet Noah at 4001 Nebraska Avenue in Washington, D.C., which is the address of both WRC-TV, the local NBC affiliate, and NBC News's Washington bureau.
