Having finished their mission, Claude convinces Haram to agree to continue as his partner for another six months when police arrive to the park.

She later seeks refuge at Pont Neuf and seeks work at a florist's shop. However, Daphne never finds a life that suits her, and eventually steals from a hot roll vendor in a market. Samir Mellouk approaches her and says that he might have work for her, and Daphne begins working for Samir.
