About
Peter Barnett has produced several films and television series. In film, Peter has been producer of the shorts The Yellow Badge of Courage (1999) and Scorcher (2002). He was also consulting producer for the short films Welcome to Juliette (2007) and Coppola's Box (2007), and co-executive producer for the documentary Ghosts of the Abyss (2003). In television, Peter was producer for episodes of the series 12 Miles of Bad Road (2007), The Sopranos (2007), and Arli$$ (1996). Also, he was supervising producer for the television short The Thin Green Line (1999), and coordinating producer for the television film East Bound and Down (2008).
In addition to producing, Peter has also been a production accountant for film and television. He did accounting for such feature films as Romy and Michele's High School Reunion (1997) and Spy Hard (1996), and television films as The Rat Pack (1998) and The Dick Van Dyke Show Revisited (2004). Peter also audited several episodes of the television series The Inside (2005) and the pilot of the television series The Loop (2006).

- Peter Barnett's short film, The Yellow Badge of Courage, received a Axium Media Silver Award in 1999.
- Also in 1999, Extraordinary Visitor, a film Peter's company distributed, received an Audience Award from Dances With Films. The same film was nominated for a Genie Award in 2000.

- Peter Barnett is the president of the Nova Pictures production and distribution company, which is co-producing the Destiny webisodes for Heroes with Moving Parts Inc.
- Besides his Hollywood career, Peter Barnett is a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a combat helicopter pilot and intelligence officer. He has received two Air Medals for Heroic Achievement. Peter served in Southwest Asia during the Gulf War and continues his service as a reserve mobilization officer.
- Peter has a Film and Television Production degree from California State University Northridge and a Master's degree in Business Management from Webster University.
