Unexpected
Ando drives Hope to Primm, where he discovers her stolen casino chips. Steve Gustavson drives Hiro to Primm to find Hope. Steve and Hope have a shootout in a parking lot. Ando is shot and Hiro is nearly killed. Hiro and Ando part ways in Primm—Ando taking the rental car to Los Angeles, and Hiro boarding a bus to Las Vegas.

- According to the 2000 census, 436 people live in Primm.
- Primm only received its name in the 1990s. Before that, it was informally called "State Line", due to its proximity to the California border.
