Strange Attractors
Sheriff Werner of Cainan arrests Jeremy Greer after Noah notifies the local authorities that Jeremy's parents are dead. Despite the fact that Noah has made it appear they died from carbon monoxide poisoning due to a defective heater, the sheriff believes something more is going on and holds Jeremy in custody based on Jeremy's reputation of strange behavior. Noah and Tracy eventually arrange Jeremy's release but the teenager kills a man as he's escorted out of the police station. Later, the sheriff discovers that Deputy Gill has taken Jeremy out of his cell, but is apparently unaware of what Gill intended.
Later, Samuel destroys the station building during business hours, after the sheriff enters the building.
