- 6/10 — NEW! Kristin of E! Online confirms that the villain, Jesse Murphy, will share at least one scene with actress who plays Elle, and that the character will be around for at least three episodes. Jesse is to be a thug who runs with a gang of two-bit criminals. However, Jesse is more than just a meathead. He does have a power.
- 6/10 — NEW! TV Guide announced that Francis Capra has joined the cast as Jesse and his villainous character will cross paths with Peter Petrelli.
- 5/8 — According to SpoilerFix, a casting call has been released for Jesse, who is to be a new recurring character introduced in an episode entitled The Butterfly Effect. The description given for the part is that he should be 28-38 years of age. He is also to be an intense guy with an explosive temper, violent, cruel, and a mean looking S.O.B.
