Separation

So I separated the large gallery by each page, with the "progression" from left to right, and any extra behind-the-scenes images on the far right. I was tempted to separate each gallery with a section tag, but I think it takes away from the content. What does anyone else think? If people like it, we can use it for the other novel subpages.—Bob 03:12, 21 June 2007 (EDT)

  • I like it—it works for this page, sure. But it only works because we have a max of four images per page. On an article like Jason Badower/The Death of Hana Gitelman, Part 1, there's a lot more images per page (for instance, page 8 has 8 images). I suppose even if a page has 5 images, it could still go into its own little gallery, even if it's a bit clunky. I don't suggest using this format for Jason Badower/Road Kill, though, since I think there's only one or two images per page. It's a great idea, I guess I just don't want to feel like we're tied to it. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 09:18, 21 June 2007 (EDT)
  • Also, good call on not using the section headings—I just took a look and it's okay, but it does kind of break up the page a bit too much. After the commentaries go in (I know, I'm slow), we should revisit how it all looks to make sure the page isn't too tall. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 09:20, 21 June 2007 (EDT)
    • Yeah, I separated the galleries by pages for Jason Badower/The Death of Hana Gitelman, Part 1, and it was nice that each gallery had at least two images, and none had five. I don't think it works for the War Buddies set or for Road Kill since there just aren't that many images per page. Good call on the Death of Hana series. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:07, 22 June 2007 (EDT)
