Talk:Katarina

Does anybody have closed captioning for The Line? It'd be nice to know how they spell her name. It sounds like "Katarina", but as I'm doing searches for Russian names, it seems that "Katerina" is more common. Anybody know more? — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:35, 29 October 2007 (EDT)

  • The closed captions do spell it "Katarina" for what it's worth. (Admin 23:50, 29 October 2007 (EDT))
    • Then I'm just as inclined to go with that. It's already linked on the site, to boot. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:52, 29 October 2007 (EDT)
      • Maybe Ukrainian traditional spelling is Katarina?—Bob (talk) 23:55, 29 October 2007 (EDT)

last name

Shouldn't this be "Katarina Spektor"? —Radicell 05:47, 20 January 2010 (EST)

  • There's some discussion about it elsewhere (I can't remember where), and the thinking was that we don't know whether or not she took Ivan's last name. Personally, I'd rather use the last name unless we have some reason to believe that she didn't (like the case of Niki Sanders and D.L. Hawkins). I personally have no problem if you wanted to move this to "Katarina Spektor". — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 11:06, 20 January 2010 (EST)
