- From the NBC blurb for Distractions, Jessalyn Gilsig is definitely Claire Bennet's birth mother. In a separate spoiler from Kristin Veitch of E!, Claire's mother will have a "power useful on Survivor", which since it was stated right after the Survivor finale challenge (where two women couldn't start a campfire with matches in two hours) was inferred as having pyrokinesis. —Orne 16:48, 20 January 2007 (EST)
