Very Loose Translation

I don't get this guy

- I'm not sure either. Personally, I think that, with the exception of Blindsided and maybe the Hana-Drucker storyline, most of those GNs written between The Ten Brides of Takezo Kensei and the Company arc were just filler, and a somwhere between fanfic and what this place calls near-canon. They were probably written during the strike without any oversight by Kring and co., so they mainly did things that could have no bearing on the storyline unless Kring and co. wanted them to when they got back into the drivers seat.
