Return Date

How do you know it'll resume on September 8th? Is there any source? Mang0es 18:20, 27 March 2008 (EDT)

  • Yes, supposedly a producer gave a message to one of the fans at 9th wonders that that was the date. There's a link in the spoilers section.--MiamiVolts (talk) 18:28, 27 March 2008 (EDT)
    • Just for clarification, it was Chris Zatta, and here's the link. I don't think it's on the spoiler page, but I'll add it now. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:00, 27 March 2008 (EDT)
      • According to Buddy TV, on September 15, "Heroes will kick off with a three-hour event. First hour is a clip show, followed by the two hour season premiere." Chrisyudbsname.JPGChrisyudbstalk.JPG 11:34, 3 April 2008 (EDT)
        • Two hours!? --DocM 11:42, 3 April 2008 (EDT)
        • I don't know if it will be September 8 or 15, but I would trust Chris Zatta over Buddy TV. I'm curious if there are any other sources mentioning the return date. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:44, 3 April 2008 (EDT)
          • Found some: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]. If they're all getting their info from the same source, then it might be bogus. But the source seems very widely distributed, so my guess is it's coming directly from NBC. I would say September 15 is probably the right date. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 17:19, 3 April 2008 (EDT)
            • Interesting. The only thing I could find at NBC Universal's site was that the exact release dates would be announced later.--MiamiVolts (talk) 00:16, 4 April 2008 (EDT)
              • NBC has changed it's premiere dates for lots of shows. "Heroes" will be back on September 22, 2008. Same 3-hour deal thing.[7]
                • Soon, September 29. Then October whatever. Then 2009. --DocM 19:00, 23 May 2008 (EDT)
                  • Ugg, don't jinx us. If the actors go on strike, it will be 2009...--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:02, 23 May 2008 (EDT)

Name change?

There seems to be a lot of ambiguity on the site involving seasons and volumes... shouldn't this be renamed to Volume 3 because ultimately that's what it's referring to? (Friskymuffin - (talk) 16:04, 28 May 2008 (EDT))

  • A season can consist of multiple volumes. Season 1 just happened to consist of Volume 1. Season 2 would have been multiple volumes if not for the writers' strike. Season 3 may consist of multiple volumes, we'll have to see how it plays out. Basically we document them by season and then for each season we list the volumes. There are also redirects from Volume One, Volume Two, and Volume Three to the right places so it ends up covering all the bases. (Admin 16:07, 28 May 2008 (EDT))
    • Fair enough, that sounds fine :) (Friskymuffin - (talk) 16:12, 28 May 2008 (EDT))
      • Another potential course would be to move the episode info from the "Season" article and put it into a "Volume" article and then to create a Season article that transcludes the Volume articles for any volumes in that season. There's not too much to gain, though, so it's probably not worth the work... but it'd still be an option. :) (Admin 16:15, 28 May 2008 (EDT))
        • Not a bad idea...but I'd wait to see what having multiple volumes looks like and then maybe make a decision next year at this time. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:10, 28 May 2008 (EDT)

According to Anders...

  • I met David Anders at London Film and Comic-Con yesterday. He was very friendly, so I asked him whether they'd finished filming Volume 3? He told me that they were filming episode 7 right now, and that the season would consist of 23 episodes. Straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak, and enough to warrant a mention in the article, you think?--  Lost Soul   talk  contribs  03:25, 21 July 2008 (EDT)
    • Didn't we already know that there'd be 23 episodes (13 episodes fall schedule and 10 episodes spring schedule)? Anyways, it's cool to know they're filming episode 7 already.--MiamiVolts (talk) 03:40, 21 July 2008 (EDT)

On documentation of the clip show before the premire...

Are we going to make a page about it? Will said page be linked to from this page? --SacValleyDweller (talk) 17:35, 30 August 2008 (EDT)

  • Didn't they do this before Season Two as well? I can't recall, but I'm fairly certain that they did. My view is that if nothing new is presented in the hour before the premiere, then nothing is worth note except in the episode notes or the Season Three notes. Aside from that, I don't think we'll need a page for it.--Bob (talk) 18:03, 30 August 2008 (EDT)
    • Agree. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:09, 30 August 2008 (EDT)
      • I disagree. Lostpedia makes article for recap shows also. We may want to give credit to the narrator of the recap show, provide background information of the premiere party. The episode even has its own Mohinder-logue! Chrisyu357 09:20, 25 September 2008 (EDT)
        • I think that's an old discussion. We have a page for it here. (Admin 09:25, 25 September 2008 (EDT))

Working title

In the DigitalSky video, Tim Kring says that Fugitives is the working title.--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:02, 30 August 2008 (EDT)

Something to think about

Has anyone thought about the fact that everything in Season 3 will be happening before all the last years GNs. How will they work all the Evsdroper stories around this season or vice versa?--Iceman 08:06, 19 September 2008 (EDT)

Personally, I'm positive that the Evs storyline and Season 2 ending/season 3 beginning both happened in or around March 2007, so for me there is no problem Pierre 08:23, 19 September 2008 (EDT)

I think they happen around the same time too....but i doubt that the Evs storyline will even be mentioned in season 3...thats probably why the gn writers killed off most of the characters at the very end, so theres no chance for them to appear in the show--Anthony Gooch 16:15, 19 September 2008 (EDT)

Season 3 Interviews

I've got some good ones so far. Jamie Hector who plays Benjamin "Knox" Washington and Ken Lally who plays The German. Theres one more but it would be a spoiler to post it now.--Skywalkerrbf 11:42, 26 September 2008 (EDT)

Theory

In one of these episodes, Arthur Petrelli mistakenly absorbs Mohinder's ability, which saves Mohinder. TheEvilNoob 20:23, 22 October 2008 (EDT)

Low Ratings

  • Hello everyone. If anyone didn't notice it yet, the Heroes ratings are dropping low. Heroes is still one of the top-rated shows on NBC, but is loosing more and more viewers. Anyone got an idea, why? Also does anyone know how many seasons can we expect from Tim Kring? Because i think this 3rd season is great but i'm a bit worried, also with Jesse en Jeph gone it doesn't look good. -- Futurepeter ( U - T - C ) 04:22, 3 November 2008 (EST)
    • I noticed. See TAMi for a more accurate ratings system than Nielsen. TAMi is released weekly by NBC and includes the new media and delayed viewership numbers (Nielsen Ratings don't include either). Heroes is doing quite well in TAMi, so a shift in how many viewers watch tv is likely at least part of the reason.--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:45, 3 November 2008 (EST)

Should we add...

I always thought that it would be good to add, for each episode, what the rating (how many viewers watched) was. We could do this for every episode of every season. It would be especially nice to have for season three's episodes though since the ratings have been dropping with each episode. It would make it nice and easy for all of us to see how our show is doing. Just so you guys know not all hope is lost, the last two episodes have done better in the ratings! So yeah let me know if this is possible. --Cairoi 22:58, 2 December 2008 (EST)

Promos for Volume 4...

at the end of Dual call it a new season. do we pay attention to that or still call this Season 3? --SacValleyDweller (talk) 02:09, 16 December 2008 (EST)

It was probably just confusion over what "Volume" means. Given that volumes three and four were produced together as a single season, I'd say we go with keeping it as "season three". --Golden Monkey 07:53, 16 December 2008 (EST)

Some cheeky trivia

Just some stuff I found interesting. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 15:53, 9 January 2009 (EST)

"and Mohinder finally rids himself of his ability."

Has anyone said definitely that Mohinder's ability is gone?

Because he injected himself with the formula that is supposed to create abilities. So I'm thinking the formula he used on himself + the formula with the catalyst wouldn't take his abilities away, it would just fix the negative side-effects he had because of a lack of the catalyst in his original formula.

The End of Heroes?

  • Okay.. i have been searching and searching... and i cant find anything about it! i heard this terrible rumor that Season 3 is the last season of heroes.. because of the low ratings and blah-blah-blah.. can someone please explain to me how its going to be? /Larvig 20:51, 9 January 2009 (EST)
    • I’ve heard the same rumor, and I too want answers. Does someone know what’s going on? Tell me it’s not going off. Come on; just give me two more seasons, and then a Mohinder spin-off to live for. This is the best show on television! (How some people fail to see that, I’ll never know.) --Mohinder613 (my talk page) 19:04, 2 February 2009 (EST)

can someone tell me

  • how much time past between volume 2 and 3 , because i think there is a plot hole between the evs droper graphic novels and volume 3 --Cj31094 13:43, 23 February 2009 (EST)
    • Nathan's shooting is about a week and a half after Bennet's, if those graphic novels are to be believed. - Josh (talk/contribs) 14:07, 23 February 2009 (EST)

No Subtitles

  • As one of the oldest members of this fansite, I must protest Season 3 DVD's lack of subtitles. This really sucks. Especially as I am very hard of hearing and I am engaged to the most gorgeous girl in Australia, to whom English is her fourth language. Do any of you guys in Regions 1 or 2 have Heroes Season 3 DVDs with subtitles? -- User:Blood69 20:55, 19 February 2010 (AEST)
  • I believe mine has subtitles. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 11:06, 19 February 2010 (EST)
