Ready?

Anybody think this page is almost ready for a mainspace move?—  Lost Soul   talk  contribs  15:48, 23 November 2007 (EST)

  • I think it needs a navbar at the bottom. Also, I think there's an instance where Matt asks Claire is she's special in Company Man.—Bob (talk) 17:37, 23 November 2007 (EST)
    • Matt asks Claire if she is 'different'. He didn't use the word special, though.—Ice Vision 17:46, 23 November 2007 (EST)
      • It doesn't have a navbar because it isn't in mainspace. When it is, it'll have {{theme}}.—  Lost Soul   talk  contribs  04:31, 25 November 2007 (EST)
        • You can add the navbar while it's a user page. It will add cat:User Pages while it's a user page, and automatically update to cat:themes when it's moved.—Hardvice (talk) 15:54, 30 November 2007 (EST)
  • This page looks like it'd be a good recurring theme. I think it's a fine page. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:52, 26 November 2007 (EST)

Special the novel

If this is moved, it might cause problems with Special (which redirects to the graphic novel).—  Lost Soul   talk  contribs  15:35, 11 December 2007 (EST)

  • I agree, but there's not really much choice unless we make "Special" a disambig article. We could also add a "See also" to this page and the graphic novel. Lastly, another option would be to create a "theme" namespace since there are probably enough theme articles to warrant one.—MiamiVolts (talk) 23:29, 14 December 2007 (EST)
    • ...Or "special (theme)". — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:49, 15 December 2007 (EST)
      • Should this be moved then, or not? :)—  Lost Soul   talk  contribs  11:05, 28 December 2007 (EST)
        • I think it should be moved to the main mainspace, and that moving it to "Special (theme)" and adding see alsos to this article and "Graphic Novel:Special" makes the most sense.—MiamiVolts (talk) 13:36, 28 December 2007 (EST)

Synonyms

Can we include terms like 'extraordinary' in this article as a synonym for special? Especially in the same context - e.g. Claire is told she is "not extraordinary". (Friskymuffin - (talk) 16:08, 29 May 2008 (EDT))

  • When someone is NOT special/extraordinary shouldn't be referenced for sure. I'm okay with adding "extraordinary" references as being extraordinary is similar to being special. However, I think there's enough "special" references that we don't really need to do so.—MiamiVolts (talk) 16:27, 29 May 2008 (EDT)
    • Fair enough... I've added something about Mohinder from The Line, but if you think its irrelevant then I don't mind it being erased. (Friskymuffin - (talk) 16:35, 29 May 2008 (EDT))
