- Rewatch that scene, I'm pretty sure that his name is Stanley. One guy says, "Good morning, Stanley." Another guy says, "Good morning, Stanley." Then Matt says, "Okay, I got it. Stanley, hey, man. - Sure, but if they call him Stanley (3 times) then, well, that's his name. A few other examples of using names that are different than how they're credited: Sylar's mom was never credited as Virginia Gray—that comes from NBC. Same with Steve Gustavson, who is only credited as "S. R. Gustavson". Elisa Thayer's name is also from NBC, I think. Beth Lindall's name comes from her nametag—she's credited as "Doctor".
