Rename

I think this page should be renamed to James Martin's funeral, because it IS actually his funeral, regardless of who the characters thought he was. — Tristan0709 talk 23:23, 9 May 2009 (EDT)

  • Disagree to an extent. First, this isn't even a funeral, it's a cremation. Second, though it is truely Jim Martin's body, they're acknowledging it as Sylar. My opinion is that this should be listed as "Sylar's" cremation.—Riddler 23:43, 9 May 2009 (EDT)
    • Right, most everybody at the event believed it was Sylar. It was not a funeral for James Martin, but an event for Sylar. Regardless of the body that was burning (at some memorial services, there is no body), the event was for Sylar.... — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:15, 10 May 2009 (EDT)
    • I'm not opposed to calling it "Sylar's cremation", but my only issue is that it's actually not Sylar's cremation. It's his funeral, sure, but Sylar is actually not being cremated. It's a weird distinction because it's a weird even that's going on...but I think "Sylar's funeral" is fine. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:34, 10 May 2009 (EDT)
      • That's why I put Sylar in quotes. "Sylar"'s cremation indicates that it's not really Sylar, but that the characters believe it's Sylar.—Riddler 00:47, 10 May 2009 (EDT)
        • I think it should be titled Sylar's Cremation, at a funeral you generally dont burn the body....—Pslover 21:01, 12 May 2009 (EDT)
          • A funeral is a ceremony for the body before it's buried or cremated. They held a ceremony (though certainly not one where they mourned his passing, as in a familial funeral), then started cremating the body. Officially, that's a funeral. —Crazyaspie 01:02, 16 May 2009 (EDT)
  • Sylar's pyre funeral? —Carl Jung 08:07, 7 June 2009 (EDT)
