• In theory if the fur was wet but the body was not then the electricity might take a path directly through the fur to ground. In reality, though, with the voltage in a bolt of lightning once it hits the fur it's probably just as likely to go through the cat itself. (Admin 22:19, 4 March 2008 (EST))
