Findings

Ok, here's what I see about the EasyTimeline. (1) it does not support Month or Day formatting, apparently the time axis is always formatted as a Year, and there are no parameters to change it. (2) link text is quite tempermental. I still don't have a good handle on how it determines where to put the link, so there's a lot of tweaking of the shift factor. I'll try making a horizontal version, but first I'm going to get some lunch. —Orne 12:41, 15 January 2007 (EST)

Ugh, you're running into the same issues I found, but I just assumed it was because I'm a dunce. This page has a ton of examples of stuff you could do with the timeline - that might help. Let me know if I can be of any assistance. - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:15, 15 January 2007 (EST)
It does?? I can't see any. — Cuardin 16:33, 15 January 2007 (EST)
Hmm, well it did a few weeks ago. Try this instead (a lot less, but you get the point). - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 17:34, 15 January 2007 (EST)

AFD

This page could probably go...as could the timeline extension we're not using. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:14, 17 December 2007 (EST)

  • Wow, I didn't know we still had this. Let it go. —Hero!(talk)(contribs) 22:21, 17 December 2007 (EST)
    • Thank goodness for random pages, right? ... I'll let Admin weigh in because ultimately, he's the one who will remove the timeline extension. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:54, 17 December 2007 (EST)
      • Well, we can lose the page but keep the extension, as just in case we want to use it later for something we can.—MiamiVolts (talk) 23:06, 17 December 2007 (EST)
        • The extension sucks. I don't see any reason to keep it around. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:14, 17 December 2007 (EST)
