Building 26 has a gallery of targets.
|Purpose:||Evade capture from the US government|
|Known members:||Abigail, |
Daphne Millbrook (deceased),
|Equipment used:||Their abilities|
A partial section of the gallery of targets is first shown in Building 26 at operational headquarters; including mugshots of Peter, Matt, Sylar, Hiro, and Mohinder.
The full gallery is shown (via partial segments across several scenes) as Homeland Security agent Abby Collins visits to examine the operation. Additional mugshots are seen of Claire, the Haitian, Knox, Monica, Baron Samedi, Micah, West, and Alex.
The gallery is reorganized in this episode, into three sections: Captured, At Large, and Killed. Peter and Matt are elevated to Priority One, shoot to kill, by Danko. Additional evolved humans (Daphne, Luke, Tracy, and Eric Doyle), as well as some additional unknowns debut on the gallery.
Ando and Hiro infiltrate Building 26 having frozen time and Ando finds the pictures of him and Hiro and removes them from the wall. The two also free all of the captured evolved humans.
- Writer-producers Joe Pokaski and Aron Coleite confirmed that many of the pictures of "unidentified" targets are actually pictures of crew members. Some crew members include Anne Berger, Diane Calhoun, Rachel Caproni, James Clark, Walter Eckert, Jonathan Harmon, Peter Kang, Francis R. Mahoney III, Foz McDermott, Peter Mercurio, Valerie Norman, Bob Ross, Robert Scott, Heather Stunkel, Aviv Surkin, and Dan Walton.
- The board was originally laid out in a grid of 5 rows, and 13 columns. In the an installment of CBR, writers Aron Coleite and Joe Pokaski reveal that "there's no real rhyme of reason so far, but as we move along, you'll see the board take more form. And the columns of killed/captured/at large firm up". Indeed, the order and position of the photographs would change from episode to episode. In Exposed, the order of the entire gallery was reorganized into three sections labeled "Captured", "At Large", and "Killed".
- Interestingly, despite Knox having been killed by Tracy Strauss and Nathan Petrelli having witnessed his death, he still appeared on the "at large" list.
