Template talk:Infobox location
From Heroes Wiki
The only problem with putting the Wikipedia link in the infobox is that we have non-real-world location articles that Wikipedia doesn't have articles for (like Union Wells High School). Since {{{PAGENAMEE}}} is a page variable, it always exists, meaning {{:if {{{PAGENAMEE}}} is always true, and so it will try to link to it no matter what.—Hardvice (talk) 01:48, 9 November 2006 (EST)
- You could, however, set a variable to "yes" to turn it on or off, like {{:ifeq {{WPLink}}|yes|<center>[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/{{PAGENAMEE}} Wikipedia Article]</center>}}—Hardvice (talk) 01:53, 9 November 2006 (EST)
- Also, you probably want {{{PAGENAME}}} instead of {{{PAGENAMEE}}} for the box title. {{{PAGENAMEE}}} will give you escape codes for spaces and special characters, so your box will be labelled "Las_Vegas%2C_NV" instead of "Las Vegas, NV"—Hardvice (talk) 01:58, 9 November 2006 (EST)
Coherent colors
Hi there. Just wondered why we don't use the same colors as in the other infoboxes and nav elements. - CmdrCash 12:49, 9 November 2006 (EST)
I just thought I'd spice it up a bit. It looks decent, and it seperates it from the other infoboxes —— ![]()
