Noah and Peter arrive at the Greers' home, and find all the plants outside dead, as well as a pet bird. They proceed inside, and find Mr. Greer and Mrs. Greer dead in the living room. Jeremy Greer fires on them from upstairs, telling them to stay away from him. Peter teleports outside to sneak around him, while Noah heads upstairs to try to calm him down. As Jeremy and Noah talk, Peter teleports right in front of Jeremy, who shoots him. Noah manages to calm Jeremy done, and get him to heal Peter. Noah rigs the heater to make it appear that Jeremy's parents died of carbon monoxide poisoning, and calls the police to report the deaths.
