The swordsmith is an evolved human, with the ability to create any weapon (within the technological ability of the times).	The swordsmith not only made Kensei's sword, but many guns.	+ It seems odd that a swordsmith would be capable of creating guns, especially in a country which forbade them within it's boundaries. It would make sense if he was capable of intuitively making any weapon.
The swordsmith gave Adam the idea to become Takezo Kensei: Adam was a drunkard Englishman who probably had no honor, only extreme greed, and the swordsmith helped him to decide to capitalize on Whitebeard's terror.	None.	+ Honestly, what are the odds that a drunk Englishman would know to go with the name Sword Saint? It is more likely for the swordsmith to have taught him that name, and he probably also is responsible for Kensei's crest (the helix).
