|First appearance||A Lesson in Electricity|
|Residence||The Franklins' home|
Tiger is Benjamin Franklin's pet cat.
One night in 1752, Tiger is sleeping, nestled closely to Benjamin Franklin on his bed. Tiger wakes up when Deborah Franklin enters the bedroom to tell her husband that his lightning-triggered bells are ringing. Tiger then jumps off the bed when Benjamin gets up to go downstairs.
Several nights later, in the middle of an electrical storm, Tiger accompanies Benjamin and his son to a hilltop where they perform his kite experiment. And after Benjamin absorbs a massive amount of electricity, Benjamin dissipates the charge by petting Tiger, who is safely insulated under his fur.
