Graphic Novel:Heroism is Found in the Heart, Part 1
A group of bikers confront Ando and Kimiko Nakamura when they leave Yamagato Industries. The lead biker flashes his sword in their direction.
Graphic Novel:Heroism is Found in the Heart, Part 2
Fumio Fukazawa leads his men to chase Kimiko and Ando. However, Kimiko gives a swift kick to one of the bikers, then takes his motorcycle; another biker is slowed by Ando's fumbled helmet. When the gang finally corners their targets, they are frightened off by a menacing presence.
Notes
- There are at least four members in the group, all of whom ride their own motorcycle, carry a sword, and have their identity hidden by a helmet.
- Three of the motorcycles shown in Heroism is Found in the Heart, Part 1 are marked with color-varied versions of a flaming symbol. The fourth motorcycle bears a symbol that contains the letter R.
- Ryan Odagawa said that the bikers were an homage to the film Akira.
Trivia
- The letter R was also used on the school letter jackets in the Betty series of graphic novels which have the same artist.
