Ragui Hanna was born in 1980 in UAE, moved with his parents to Egypt in 1983, Ragui studied computer science in Egypt by the final year he decide to move to San Francisco to pursue his passion for visual effects, in 2005 Ragui graduated with his 2nd Bachelor degree in fine art.

Ragui Hanna has been working as a visual effects compositor for a number of movies and television series and miniseries including Heroes, Commander in Chief , Las Vegas , Crossing Jordan, Ugly Betty, The Hills Have Eyes II and Turistas.
