Since [[Genesis|the very first episode]], many fans have noted that that Peter's flamboyant, over-the-eye hairstyle was similar to the stereotypical [[wikipedia:emo (slang)|emo]] cut. This garnered a great deal of mocking, and indeed even [[Milo Ventimiglia]] complained and asked for Peter to get a new hairstyle.
