Hey Riddler, I got a clearer cap of the pasta ... it's definitely the Symbol! Awesome catch!--Hardvice (talk) 02:11, 24 January 2007 (EST)

Map/List Folks

Hey Riddler! Great job on these guys. I got Felipe Acera set up with the standard format for character pages if you want to take a look. Again, thanks for all your contributions and welcome aboard!--Hardvice (talk) 14:07, 24 January 2007 (EST)

Gallery on Spoilers Page

Hey, Riddler. Just thought I'd let you know how to do a gallery. First, start a new section called "Gallery". Then type the gallery tags <gallery> and </gallery>. Inside, you can put each image, and then pipe a caption. Then, don't forget to put the article into the galleries category. Here's what you should type:

Image:second pic.jpg|second caption

[[Category: Galleries]]

Hope that helps! - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:40, 25 January 2007 (EST)

Character cards

Nice work cleaning them up. One thing to watch, though: the template looks for a comma in the fields. If it finds one, it makes the label plural (Children instead of Child, Siblings instead of Sibling, Parents instead of Parent). Taking the commas out broke some of the labels.--Hardvice (talk) 01:39, 6 February 2007 (EST)

Yeah, that was my fault, too. Riddler had added some in, and I took them out. I forgot about the comma call. Oops! — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:48, 6 February 2007 (EST)

Doing great

Hey, Riddler ... Just wanted to let you know you're doing a fine job using the wiki. We all start someplace, and we all learn as we go. Don't worry about mistakes -- if you make one (we all do!), somebody will come along and fix it up for you. You're doing just fine. :) — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:07, 20 February 2007 (EST)

Synopsis inaccuracies

  • Hey, Riddler. If you notice anything in the synopsis that seems like maybe I came to the wrong conclusion or anything, do feel free to fix it. :) Sometimes I see a scene one way and it turns out I was wrong, so definitely keep me honest. :) (Admin 01:21, 20 February 2007 (EST))
    • Ahh, yes, I have to type very quickly to get as much info as possible when writing them, so I do often make mistakes. I figure the info's the important part, we can always fix the grammar and punctuation later. :) Also I just rewatched the scene. He does appear to stop time when he's shot with the tazer. There's the familiar sound of time winding down which is the most compelling evidence. Peter keeps moving while The Haitian and Mr. Bennet are motionless. Plus the tazer sound stops and the electrictity doesn't arc on their tazers. Then once time returns to normal the sound is heard again. I agree that it's unlikely that he just stopped time since the probes wouldn't just fall, but it looks like he stopped time first and then dropped the probes afterwards. HRG voicemails on Samantha's site

Hey, Riddler. Thanks for the heads up. I haven't actually checked out the voicemails yet, so I can't be 100% positive where they would go. Does it make sense to put them on Hana's website? — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:19, 20 February 2007 (EST)

Known power

Hi, Riddler. The "powers" variable looks like "power(s)" when you edit it, but comes out as "known power" on the infobox. So if we don't know a person's power, it should say "none". Just wanted to clear that up. --Heroe!(talk) (contribs) 11:25, 13 May 2007 (EDT)

  • Yeah, her "known power" being "unknown" is a bit oxymoronic...--Ice Vision 13:02, 13 May 2007 (EDT)
    • I just fixed it up so if you type power(s) = Unknown, it will show up as "Power: Unknown" instead of "Known Power: Unknown". — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 13:25, 13 May 2007 (EDT)

When adding theories, make sure you use canon in the citations column. Otherwise, put "None.". Canon sources include GN's and aired episodes, but not the Heroes 360 experience. Thanks.--Bob 16:36, 16 May 2007 (EDT)

  • Eh, I figured the 360 experience and anything NBC/the writers hosted/created would be considered canon, in that they would cause a very serious fuck up to the story if it wasn't. Ah well. --Riddler 16:38, 16 May 2007 (EDT)
    • It's just that the policy of the site is canon material is GN's and episodes aired. With the large writing staff and huge plot lines, it's hard for them to keep up with everything, and they admittedly have made a few errors along the way.--Bob 16:43, 16 May 2007 (EDT)
      • Check out help:sources. I think we're still on the fence a little about the Heroes 360 stuff. I'd like to elevate it to the same level as the GNs, but there's a nagging voice in my mind that reminds me that the 360 stuff has had far greater errors in it than the GNs, and it's been around for a much shorter time. It's safe to put it in the notes, though. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 17:22, 16 May 2007 (EDT)

Long day

  • I know the feeling. :) I just wanted to make sure to emphasize that while some of us may have particular opinions it's still up to the community to come to consensus. What a few administrators believe isn't necessarily the way it will go. In fact, I get overrulled all the time by other people. :) (Admin 23:45, 15 October 2007 (EDT))

Your breakfast

Here you are. --PeterDawson 11:28, 18 November 2007 (EST)

Thanks for the Reminds

  • Hey, no worries about the movie critiques. I'll admit the final product of a new of them I put up mainly as placeholders and I planned to revisit a few (namely Pain Induction and Induced Slumber) with different effects, so I just took your comments as a crack the whip sort of thing. I'll no doubt revisit Illusion later, but I tend to get lazy with placement on that one because the Illusions Candice could make weren't limited to herself. --PeterDawson 12:50, 1 December 2007 (EST)
  • What do you think of the clairvoyance effect in this one? --PeterDawson 15:25, 20 December 2007 (EST)

I started something like that here, but it ran into a dead end creatively, so I left that page in the dust. If you want to incorporate your page into mine or vice versa, feel free. --SacValleyDweller (talk) 02:00, 28 September 2008 (EDT)

  • I like yours better than mine, and it feels like it'd be easier to edit. Expect some stuff added to your page. =p--Riddler 02:03, 28 September 2008 (EDT)
    • No worries, Take it! Your creative juices might get mine going again for that page and we both could get it to the mainspace, or not to the mainspace. :) --SacValleyDweller (talk) 02:07, 28 September 2008 (EDT)
      • I've already started. =] The only thing that's really different about the two pages is that my original idea was to link specific powers, yours links the aspects, if I worded that right. I can work with yours though. =P--Riddler 02:12, 28 September 2008 (EDT)
        • Right. However, I think both ideas can be incorporated into the page. Just bullet point the abilities that Perform the aspect, then in a paragraph cite examples of how each ability performs the aspect, citing similarities and differences. All the while we should cite the Ep or GN from which we have drawn our examples. --SacValleyDweller (talk) 02:22, 28 September 2008 (EDT)
          • I just added alot, but I plan to go back through all the powers to make sure there is nothing we're missing. I think the page could use a reformat in some way, but I can't think of any alternatives for it. We can definitely make this page nice though. =]--Riddler 02:28, 28 September 2008 (EDT)

Double redirects...

...can be found here. To create a redirect (or modify an existing one), here is the requisite code:
#REDIRECT [[Target page goes here]]

--SacValleyDweller (talk) 00:07, 6 October 2008 (EDT)

  • I knew that, I just didn't know what to do with the doubles, since when you move a page it says "make sure it didn't create a double redirect." Thank you though =]--Riddler 00:40, 6 October 2008 (EDT)
    • You may already know this, but just in case: When you do a move, and it warns you about making sure you didn't create a double redirect, click the link provided to go to the special page (it's the one SVD pointed out). On that page, click each edit link and set the redirect to be the real target page instead of where it's pointing to in the format SVD described above.--MiamiVolts (talk) 00:46, 6 October 2008 (EDT)
      • Ahh, now I get it. I'll get on those now. =]--Riddler 00:48, 6 October 2008 (EDT)
  • Thanks for your help with those moves--that's a huge relief! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:04, 6 October 2008 (EDT)
    • Not a problem. =]--Riddler 03:04, 6 October 2008 (EDT)

Pyrokinesis Video

I was wondering how you made the Flames, because unless theres an already animated mask thing (like there is for lightning) your art is amazing...

If there is an already animated mask somewhere deep in ae then would u mind telling me how to find it? thanks. --(. .') 12:07, 24 October 2008 (EDT)

Hey, I noticed a few comments you left regarding my user pages. I would appreciate it if you came to me instead of getting others involved. I would be more that willing to make the necessary changes if you find any of my content to be offensive. I do not want to offend anyone or make enemies, that is NOT my intention. I really enjoy Heroes and Heroeswiki. I enjoy being able to create my user pages and be somewhat creative. I really do not mean to cause trouble. I only found out yesterday that people had a problem with my page when I discovered it had been nominated for deletion. I'm only asking that you would address me with the problem first so I can fix the content. Cute dog by the way. --Bentonyang (talk)19:37, 28 November 2008 (EST)

  • I will add that once Bentonyang was made aware of some of the offensive content on his user pages, he immediately removed it and fixed it up. He's also been very willing to make any other changes that people want him to. I applaud him for that. If there's anything that anybody finds offensive, I'm sure he will continue to make necessary changes. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:17, 28 November 2008 (EST)
    • The only reason I went to Ryan was that I left a comment on each of the offensive pages respective talk pages, and got no reply there. I didn't really see it as necessary to go to your page if you weren't replying at your other pages, but I guess I should have. Sorry about that.--Riddler 20:31, 28 November 2008 (EST)
      • I was not alerted from the comments you left. I am rather new to Heroeswiki and I'm not yet sure how everything works. I apologize. I didn't know there was a talk for my specific user pages. --Bentonyang 20:52, 28 November 2008 (EST) (talk)

Wiki Heroes

Okay, I took my stuff down since it isn't cool enough. I'm done on this site anyway. Have fun in your sandbox, guys :( --Punxas 16:37, 2 February 2009 (EST)

Hey, I'm Irony. Just to let you know, I think your mutation page is needed, although I still think it should be categorized as an ability, and set out that way. Thanks --IronyUTC CH 16:30, 9 April 2009 (EDT)

Hi Riddler. Me (User:Irony), User:Laughingdevilboy ang User:Gabriel Bishopare writing a fan fic called cockney heroes. At the moment we are on episode 3 (series 1). Cockney Heroes Competition Two

As you may know, a group of Heroes-Wiki-Users are writing a fan fiction called. We are happy to announce a second Cockney Heroes competition. In this competition you will have to create a character and an ability. If you have not been reading Cockney Heroes, a portal of all of the episodes are here and there is a series similar to the graphic novels for Cockney Heroes, here. We would like you to try out as we think that you would be a great inspiration for the team :) Thank You, we hope very much that you will enter If you need to know anything see here, we will try to respond as soon as possible. --IronyUTC CH 16:48, 29 June 2009 (EDT)

The Symbol in Lydia's Tattoo

Hi, sorry for the late reply. I was the one who uploaded the Symbol on Lydia's tattoo. I read in the discussion page that you were having difficulties on spotting the Symbol in the tattoo, so here's a little something I made to explain where exactly the tattoo is. Hope that helps :)

--NiveKJ13 (talk2me) 11:06, 4 October 2009 (EDT)

  • I see it, but I don't think it was intentional. There are other vines and flowers in the tattoo. Sorry to disagree D:--Riddler 12:04, 4 October 2009 (EDT)
  • No worries. BTW, I have this another one (Above Gallery) that I have recently discovered which may ought to convince you a little. Its basically the same tattoo although it was a long shot because Lydia was standing. Notice that the vine actually continues down to the bottom where it hits another flower, while the Symbol branches are very clear and bold from far away. Sorry about these recent messages because it kinda making me sound like I'm starting a fight with you or something (LOL), I just want to share something that I have recently discovered. :) --NiveKJ13 (talk2me) 15:50, 5 October 2009 (EDT)
    • To be quite honest, further out it looks less like the symbol to me. D:--Riddler 13:59, 7 October 2009 (EDT)

Hey there, I noticed on the enhanced synesthesia talk page you made numerous comments about the current consensus checks being flawed. For my own curiosities sake, what do you think would be a better system? I realize that the current model does have its flaws, but it's only a problem if there is a more appropriate alternative. Do you have a specific method in mind or do you simply want the community to work on a better system?--PJDEP - Need further explanation? 22:52, 15 January 2010 (EST)

  • I prefer the old system, no question. It was simpler, but more organized. Short and sweet, the names were listed and you signed your name under the one you preferred, not the one you were opposed to. You added your comment with your signature, and further discussion was on the page in it's own thread.--Riddler 23:56, 15 January 2010 (EST)
