Theory

Possible Screenshot?

I might be able to help but I think I need a bit more information, I think I understand what you're asking, only I need something more specific, a screenshot would help me figure out what exactly you want removed. Because when I go to your userpage, I can't quite figure out what you're referring to.   • Of what I was able to tell, the contents bar appears whenever there are quite a few titles, and I don't think you can remove it per se (I'll explain later). Now I was confused as to why the contents bar showed up there, and I checked it with my userpage. And I think it's because of your user infobox, since you have a gigantic picture when I don't. Now as for removing the contents bar, you may have to ask someone else. Because I'm not sure if there's a special coding that negates it. I say this because when I was fooling around using your info with my userpage, I didn't get a contents bar until my website messed up and I had to redo it all over again. Now I didn't do it exactly like you did it the first time (which didn't give me a contents bar), but I can't remember what I did. It could easily be a space or removing a space that did it. Because even just the first part "Made by me" table gave me a contents bar. I'll keep fooling around some more so maybe I can figure out what I did.     • I know what it is, and I can't believe I'm an idiot for not seeing it sooner (since I'm aware of this on talk pages, I was moron to think they were different), but a contents bar is created when you have 3 equals than a phrase and another three equals or any number of equals for that matter. In order to fix this problem, I think you may have to find a different way of setting up the title or heading. Although I'm not sure that's what you want though. You may have to mess around to see if you're okay with not having a large bolded title. —Dman dustin 11:26, 17 November 2009 (EST)

You recently put edited a page and in the summary, you used all capital letters. We tend to look down upon all capital letters. So, next time can you please refrain from doing that?       • Well that is fine, I can help you with your english if you need me too! And as long as I can understand it well enough, that would be neat! About the "connection to character" thing, there are 8 main characters and 15 recurring characters in the series. Your character has to meet or somehoe come into contact with one of these people. But it can't be just Kaito Nakamura. For an example of what I mean, see the character history of Vincent Thomas. Hi there

Hi Yoshi !

Ryan didn't say the photoshoot from S3 should stay. He said the one I made wasn't meeting the requirements needed for "main characters". So I tried to make a new one, according to his requests...

There is no way to keep Peter with short hair the whole season while he has been having long hair for more than twenty episodes and won't get his short hair back. O_o

So since no photoshoot exist, I'm trying to create some. ;) And in the worst case there are "new" photoshoots from Season 1 that have been released, where Peter strangely look similar in Volume 5... —Kleith

    • No problem, I think he'll just bash me again actually. :p I understand what he says, totally, it's just that, in my opinion, a little "difference" in exposure is less important than a wrong hair cut. Yeah I love Peter, and Peter's hair ah ah.

Sig help

You probably didn't close a color tag in the signature page, so when you post it, since there is not end for the green parameter, eveything is green. Give me the link for you sig, let me have a look at it. Also, try moving the talk back, ask an admin for help if you can't, I ended up posting this at the think that ended up being a redirect to this page just after you moved it. Aspect ratio

Hey, Yoshi. I just wanted to give you a heads up about uploading images. Sometimes when you upload images, you get the aspect ratio a little bit screwy. When you're shrinking or enlarging an image, make sure you change the height and width by the same percentage. If you shrink one side too much, the image could end up really deformed, like this, this, or this. What image editing software program are you using?     • I played with your sig a bit. Now, you did you create a page called {{User:Yoshi n1/autosig}} along with user:Yoshi n1/sig?
      • I just wanted a change of pace. But (some bad news), your sig isn't fixed yet. Look here. You can see all the coding of your sig while for mine you just see {{user:catalyst/sig}}. That isn't good, because it makes things hard to read in a discussion page when someone wants to edit something. Like I sort of said above, you need to create a page called {{User:Yoshi n1/autosig}} and in the page, type in {{User:Yoshi n1/sig}}. Then when that's done and saved, go to your preferences, click the raw signature box so it is checked, and in the nickname box, type in {{user:catalyst/autosig}}, then save the changes. I'm using Photoshop as well. ;)—Kleith

  • About aspect Ratio, I think your last try is still... well not extaclt right. How do you resize it ? It's pretty simple with Photoshop, you shouldn't have trouble with it.
    • It's really easy so I can help you if you want to. When does you image get "weird" ? Show me your oginal picture.
      • What do you mean by "link" ? Sorry I didn't understand. About your picture : Some advice .

First, don't try to enlarge small pictures. You're losing way too much quality in the process.

Second, you can't give any dimension you want to a picture. For instance, yours is more tall than large. So you can't resize it by giving as much height as width or it will just get deformed.

If you resize a large picture, you can use some tricks in order to get a dimension you want, with cropping (cutting) at some point. It depends either your picture is large / tall enough. Otherwise, you just have to deal with, "the ratio" of the picture, which is supposed to be already enable on photoshop.

        • What's the picture for actually ?... I still didn't get the "leave a message", what am I supposed to do with it ?
          • Do whatever you want for my page.
  • I just painted the right on the image with the same colors so it could fill the holes while enlarging it.

To resize an image in Gimp, first paste the image into a new screen. Supposing that you want the new image to be 450x350, resize the image. This can be done using the shortcut SHIFT + T. It can also be done by clicking the Scale Tool icon, or by going to Tools | Transform Tools | Scale. When the Scale dialog box pops up, make sure you click the little broken chain that is between the Width and Height boxes. This makes sure you maintain aspect ratio. It can also be done by clicking the "Keep aspect" box, or by pressing CTRL (depending on which version of Gimp you have and the settings you've chosen). Then type 350 for the height, or 450 for the width, or just click and drag the image until it's the size you want.
