Born David Rooijker during WWII, Richard Drucker's mother was allegedly a dancer and his father a resistance fighter, though neither of these facts has been confirmed. With the death of his parents, Drucker was brought up in a Monastery, eventually landing in Argentina after the war.

As a child, he was obsessed with revolutionaries and felt that it would be his destiny to become one himself. Like many would-be revolutionaries, Drucker had issues with rage and anger, which were intensified by feelings of abandonment typical of children orphaned at a young age. A college brush with Zen and Hindu philosophy tempered his violent streak, but not his revolutionary zeal, a zeal that only grew when his ability to hear and interpret all forms of communication signals first manifested.

Drucker became part of the core team first tasked by the U.S. government to create a nationwide communications network. This network grew into today's Internet, an industry in which Drucker earned a sizable fortune. Sometime in the 1980s, while doing business in India, Drucker vanished "off the grid" and was not heard from again until communications were intercepted coming from the Kingtom [sic] of Bhutan. Company operative Bob Bishop was dispatched to locate Drucker, but only succeeded in turning up Drucker's long time personal pilot and confidant, Hampton Connolly.

Drucker was presumed dead, but further investigation revealed he had become, like Hana Gitelman, a kind of computer program crawling through the world's systems. Detected by Matt Neuenberg (see case file C025), Drucker and Hana were both completely vaporized by Elle Bishop and no longer pose any threat to Company dealings.

As a youth, Drucker was filled with the twin pillars of passion and anger. His high intelligence led him to see evils everywhere and his intrinsic passion gave him the desire to do something about it. At the same time, he suffered for years with unresolved feelings of abandonment typical of a parentless child. While he outgrew some of these tendencies after finding solace in Zen and Hindu thinking, there quite possibly remained an undercurrent of anger at a world he perceived to be unjust. In New York City, Drucker met Charles Deveaux who introduced the young man to founding members of this Company. Their ideals ran counter to his and he moved in a different direction, though we know that he kept tabs on The Company over the years just as much as The Company kept tabs on him until his disappearance in India in the late 1980s.
