Elle is held by Pinehearst in the exam room, chained and bound as she continues to [[Lightning|overload with electricity]]. [[Arthur Petrelli]] lets [[Sylar]] into the room; Elle repeatedly zaps him as punishment for [[Ability theft|killing]] [[Bob Bishop|her father]]. Eventually, Elle ceases her punishment, and she and Sylar talk. Sylar discovers how to use [[Intuitive aptitude|his ability]] to take hers, without killing her.

Later, on a video feed, Arthur watches as Elle coaches Sylar in how to unleash electricity stylishly.
