Character History
Cold Snap
After escaping several Homeland Security agents, Angela Petrelli finds herself exposed to the hunters and in the rain. She takes cover with a handsome older gentleman, lying to him that she just gave away her umbrella to a friend. He agrees to share the umbrella with her, and Angela effectively evades the agents' pursuit.
Notes
- John Epstein is only credited as "handsome older gentleman". It was in an email that Michael Carven sent that explained more, including the character's name. "My character, John Epstein, a successful wall street entrepreneur, unwittingly helps [Angela] escape from the law...He thinks she is interested in him!"
- According to the casting call, the "handsome older gent" is supposed to be between the ages of 55 and 60. Designated as being Caucasian, "this handsome older gentleman flirts with an attractive woman in the rain."
