- However, Monica's last name is Dawson, as is her grandmother with whom she's staying. Did they imply in Season Two whether or not Nana Dawson was the mother of Monica's mother or father? —Ricard Desi 11:28, 22 December 2008 (EST)
- We don't know if Nana is Monica's maternal or paternal grandmother. Monica's mother could be Nana's daughter (which is likely), or she could be married to Nana's son, or she could have simply mothered Nana's granddaughter and never been married.
