The second [[iStory]] volume is called '''The Private'''. It began being released during the hiatus between Volumes [[Volume Three|Three]] and [[Volume Four|Four]] of [[Season Three]] of ''[[Heroes]]''.

In this iStory volume, each user is able to explore [[Rachel Mills]]'s experiences in the [[Iraq War|wars]] in [[Iraq]] and [[Afghanistan]]. Each week, one chapter of stories is released, told from Rachel's point of view. The stories are entirely text based with a button to choose an action at the bottom of each scene. Polls on NBC.com are integrated into the iStory, and whichever option gets the most votes can decide what will happen in the next week's story. No registration is required to participate.
