Character History
Orientation
The tiger pants carny attends Joseph's funeral and listens to Samuel's speech.
The Fifth Stage
When a burly guy attacks Samuel, the tiger pants carny comes to Samuel's aid. Samuel tells the carny to stand down and not defend him, so the large carny stands menacingly waiting and protecting.
The Art of Deception
The tiger pants carny gathers with the others as Samuel prepares to turn himself in. He later listens as Samuel announces his plan to show the world who they really are.
The Wall
As Samuel discusses his grand plan with Claire, the tiger pants carny works nearby.
Notes
- This carny's nickname of "tiger pants" comes from the nickname the other cast members had for him. In Orientation, actor Michael John Lane wore pants with "this gaudy flame pattern on them". The running joke among the cast was that the pants would be eligible for SAG before Michael was.
- At the beginning of Season Four, when only a few extras were hired to be background carnies, Michael John Lane looked around and took notice that he was one of the larger actors on set. Because of this, he originally assumed that he was hired to play the carnival's strongman. However, when Michael met Brian Estwick and saw how large he is, Michael quickly realized that he was definitely not hired to be the carnival strongman.
