Claiming to be part of the C.I.A., Mr. Bennet blindfolds Hana and takes her to a secret facility in the Alaskan tundra. Requesting her trust, he tells her that this is the place she will learn to do good.
In the following weeks, Hana is tested physically by throwing darts with both hands, running more than 20 miles through snow, and overpowering multiple men. Her brain waves are tested, and she is injected with what she is told are "vitamins". After discovering her powers, Hana is knocked unconscious for several weeks. She then communicates by sending electronic messages with her mind to Mr. Bennet and the entire staff.
A U.S. Embassy employee tells Hana that the CIA does not operate a secret facility out of Alaska.
"You want to do some good. To punish the bad guys. This is where you're going to learn how to do that."
- The Company seems to be rather wealthy. Aside from the state-of-the-art building, they also appear to own an MRI machine and have dozens of workers at their disposal.
A U.S. flag flies outside the facility, perhaps as a front for the the Company's operations.
Hana's brain waves are tested in the facility's MRI machine.
