Andrea Thompson has acted in numerous television series and some films. In television, Andrea has been part of the main casts of a few series, including as "Jill Kirkendall" on NYPD Blue (1996-2000), "Talia Winters" on Babylon 5 (1994-1995) and "Genele Ericson" on Falcon Crest (1989-1990). She has also had recurring roles in series such as Baywatch (1991), Quantum Leap (1990-1991), J.A.G. (1996-2004) and 24 (2003-2004). Andrea's guest starring roles included Murder She Wrote (1991), Silk Stalkings (1993), Nowhere Man (1996), Medical Investigation (2004), and Bones (2007). In film, her roles have included playing "Leslie" in Manhattan gigolò (1996), "Lisa Winston" in Doin' Time on Planet Earth (1988), "Lois Shayne" in Rocket's Red Glare (2000), and "Jessica" in Passing Darkness (2005).
Following her work in the Heroes franchise, Andrea appeared in an episode of Criminal Minds alongside Sydney Sweeney, Joshua Rush, and Sam Cohen. She also did voicework for the video game Fallout: New Vegas, also alongside Sam Cohen.
