Monica sings at work, and Camille tells her that she needs to stop. The two talk about their futures and attitude. Monica tells her she took the management training program, and Camille tells her not to get her hopes up. Monica ponders about Hurricane Katrina's effects on her life, and when they both see the tomato Monica was cutting is in the shape of a rose, Camille asks where she learned to do that. Later, Monica recollects the storm and tells Camille that she's special, but feels like God is punishing her for being selfish. Camille assures her that it's normal for her to think that in her situation.
From behind the counter of Burger Bonanza, Camille gestures to Monica to not identify the photo of Lonny Stills, the man who attempted to rob the restaurant. After the police leave, she goes with Monica to the back of Burger Bonanza to ask her how and why she attacked him. Monica hints to Camille about her ability, reciting the event of the rose the previous day; however she dismisses it, saying she is tired and wants to "go home and sleep it off." Camille hugs her and tells her that everything will be all right. Monica walks away as Camille watches, worried.
- Camille has known Monica since they were both very young.
