there really should be a disambig page for Au Co, which is both the girl and the village, as far as we know. Rwun 06:42, 3 April 2007 (EDT)

  • Au Co should be the girl, with a See Also section directing to Au Co (disambig).--Hardvice (talk) 06:44, 3 April 2007 (EDT)
    • I agree. It's not that they have the same name. It's that the soldiers mistakenly took Au Co to mean the village, which it didn't. The village article's name should be changed, and somewhere in the article it should explain that it is called Au Co by the mistaken soldiers.--E rowe 09:08, 3 April 2007 (EDT)
      • We really need to change the article's name. It's not Au Co, that's a mistaken name. How about "Au Co's village"? There's also the less descriptive "Vietnamese village". — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:34, 3 April 2007 (EDT)
        • If we do this (and perhaps they're reveal the true name of the village in the future), we need to ensure that it's referred to as Au Co in WB Part 2 & 3, at the least in quotes. But I agree, it's not the name of the village (that we know of). --Bob 20:50, 3 April 2007 (EDT)
          • When a page is moved, it automatically creates a redirect. In other words, Au Co, Vietnam would automatically redirect to "Au Co's village" or whatever we call it. The most we would have to do is fix any double redirects (of which there would be none since nothing redirects to this page) and change a few links here and there (like on Portal:GN Miscellaneous Places, on Template:GNPlace, and probably a few content-related articles). Part of me says to hold off until we find out the name, but part of me says to do it now before the links become too abundant. Something to consider: Jason Badower says that he drew a location that we're going to be seeing in the next few episodes. Cool. I assume that means this village is going to be filmed. I'd rather have links that say a nonspecific name like "Au Co's village" (which is not exact but not wrong) than "Au Co, Vietnam" (which very well may be wrong). — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:58, 3 April 2007 (EDT)
